Chairman Peters opened the Board of Equalization meeting.  Roll call was answered by Lonnie Peters, Chairman, and Commissioners Doug Teaford and Rex Christensen.  Commissioners C.W. Baltzell and W.E. O’Connor were absent.  Also attending the meeting were County Clerk Sandra Olson and State Assessment Manager for Keith County Cheryl Schiel.  Teaford moved to approve the agenda, Christensen seconded the motion.  Teaford, Christensen and Peters voting aye; Baltzell and O’Connor absent; none voting nay; motion carried.  Christensen moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting, Teaford seconded the motion.  Christensen, Teaford and Peters voting aye; Baltzell and O’Connor absent; none voting nay; motion carried.

Schiel explained the corrections being made in the Correction Book to the Board.  Teaford moved to approve Chairman Peters signing the Correction Book as presented by Schiel, Christensen seconded the motion.  Teaford, Christensen and Peters voting aye; Baltzell and O’Connor absent; none voting nay; motion carried. 

Schiel recommended approval to the Board for the exemption application for Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska.  Teaford moved to approve the exemption application, Christensen seconded the motion.  Teaford, Christensen and Peters voting aye; Baltzell and O’Connor absent; none voting nay; motion carried.

With no further business to come before the Board the meeting was adjourned.
